As we continue to do more writing in class, it is clear to me that many of you need some additional help understanding the mechanics behind writing really good papers. To that end, I am working on scheduling some sort of writing workshop later this quarter. However, in the meantime, I believe it would behoove all of you (and especially those of you with college aspirations) to take some time to research what makes good writing.
And when it comes to advice on writing, we are going to go straight to the best. Below are links to the writing labs at the eight Ivy League universities, plus that at Purdue University. Each site has some excellent information to share. Please spend some time exploring these sites and gleaning as many tips as you can from the articles and resources you can find on each.
